Maura has taken bold action to tackle climate change and protect Massachusetts’ natural resources. She signed a landmark law to speed up clean energy projects, create good-paying jobs, lower costs, and make our energy system more sustainable. 

She also unveiled a 25-year plan to protect nature and wildlife, conserve land and water, and restore habitats across the state. 

She also created a disaster resilience grant program to help communities across the state prepare for flooding and extreme weather. She also made a $1.2 billion investment in clean water and modern infrastructure, ensuring that every Massachusetts town has access to safe drinking water and reliable wastewater systems.
