From expanding early education and pre-kindergarten seats to improving early literacy programs, Maura has invested in the foundation of learning so that every child can start school ready to thrive. She has also invested in high-dosage tutoring initiatives, new career and technical pathways in high schools, and a redesigned high school graduation standard to prepare students for meaningful work and lifelong learning.

Maura’s commitment extends beyond high school. She has expanded early college programs, increased vocational and career technical funding, and made higher education more affordable and accessible. State colleges and universities are now within reach for working families, community college is tuition-free, and career apprenticeship programs provide opportunities for adults to gain skills and advance in their careers.
