Team Healey-Driscoll reports over 30,000 signatures to secure spot on November ballot

Boston, MA — Today, Team Healey-Driscoll reported over 30,000 signatures collected to earn Governor Maura Healey and Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll a spot on the ballot in November. This grassroots volunteer effort for Team Healey-Driscoll statewide is just the latest sign of strong momentum for the campaign, collecting thousands of signatures from across the state to well-exceed the required amount, weeks ahead of the May 6th deadline to submit signature papers.

Hundreds of volunteers have been collecting signatures across the state with over 200 volunteer actions in each of the 40 Massachusetts Senate Districts since signature papers became available.

“Volunteers are fired up and working hard to get Governor Healey and Lieutenant Governor Driscoll on the ballot for reelection,” said Healey-Driscoll Organizing Director Emma Chinman. “This campaign would not be where we are without our dedicated volunteers, and this groundswell of enthusiasm is a testament to Maura and Kim’s commitment to everyone in Massachusetts.”

“No team is more hard-working or more organized – and the results speak for themselves,” said Healey-Driscoll Campaign Manager Katie Prisco-Buxbaum. “While the GOP candidates continue to trade barbs, with an agenda completely out-of-touch with Bay Staters, people across Massachusetts are mobilizing to support Maura and Kim’s campaign for reelection because they know that this team is the only one that will deliver for them.”

In the coming weeks and months, Team Healey-Driscoll will ramp up their organizing efforts, shifting to the next phase of the campaign as they meet voters where they are to listen to the issues impacting them and ensure they know how Governor Healey and Lieutenant Governor Driscoll are lowering costs, standing up to Trump, and protecting Massachusetts values.
