Small-dollar donations made up 74% of funds raised into the Healey Committee during the first three months of the election year
Boston, MA — Today, Team Healey-Driscoll announced their first quarter fundraising haul, totaling $2,308,789 combined across the two committees and the coordinated campaign. The Healey Committee raised $1,215,847, the Driscoll Committee raised $437,942, and the Healey-Driscoll ticket helped the Massachusetts Democratic Party raise $655,000 since the start of 2026.
In March alone, Team Healey-Driscoll raised $1,131,906. The Healey Committee raised $534,787, the Driscoll Committee raised $193,144.50, and the Healey-Driscoll ticket helped the Massachusetts Democratic Party raise $403,975.
Of the amount raised by the Healey Committee, 74% came from small-dollar donors, with an average of $28 across grassroots donations. By comparison, all three Republican candidates raised almost entirely through big-dollar donors and self-funding as their state party remains bankrupt.
“Our strong fundraising numbers show the depth of excitement about reelecting Maura and Kim across Massachusetts,” said Healey Campaign Manager Katie Prisco-Buxbaum. “While the Republican candidates continue to pour in millions of their own dollars as their fundraising stalls, Maura and Kim continue to campaign with their values, as the only ticket in this race powered by the people. We are excited to continue the momentum this spring as we meet voters in every community to share how the Healey-Driscoll administration continues to lower costs for people and stand up to the Trump administration at every turn.”
“The energy among Democrats this year has been electric, thanks to the leadership of Governor Healey and Lt. Governor Driscoll,” said MassDems Chair Steve Kerrigan. “They’re proving that they lead with Bay Staters’ priorities in mind, and are working every day to deliver for residents and show up for our Commonwealth. We are proud to support Team Healey-Driscoll in their campaign for reelection and are committed to ensuring our state leadership continues to reflect the values of Massachusetts residents.”
