Governor Maura Healey and Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll raised over $169,000 since their campaign launched yesterday

Boston, MA — Today, Governor Maura Healey and Lt. Governor Driscoll announced record fundraising amounts, totaling over $169,000 combined in just 24 hours after launching across the two committees and the coordinated campaign. In contrast, the Republican candidates raised a combined total of $167,000 in December outside of their personal loans to their campaigns.

The Healey Committee raised $120,000, the Driscoll Committee brought in over $49,000, and the Healey-Driscoll ticket helped the Massachusetts Democratic Party raise over $50,000 in the same period.

The fundraising totals in a 24-hour period boast impressive metrics, including:

  • The Healey Committee brought in roughly 1,928 donors with a $62 average. 91% of those donors were Massachusetts residents and 80% were first-time donors to the campaign.
  • Launch day was the single best grassroots fundraising day in the history of the Healey Committee.
  • Across the two committees, every region and county of the state was represented in the donations.

Additionally, launch content across platforms surpassed 1,000,000 impressions, helping to fuel online enthusiasm and grassroots support.

“It is clear people are fired up to reelect this team in November. Governor Healey and Lt. Governor Driscoll continue to attract a broad base of grassroots support that will fuel our campaign to victory,” said Healey Campaign Manager, Katie Prisco-Buxbaum. “We expect this enthusiasm to grow as more voters begin to pay attention to the race and realize Maura is the only candidate who can be trusted to lower costs, grow our economy, and stand up to the damage President Trump is doing every day.”

“Yesterday’s results show what we have known all along, the people of Massachusetts are ready for another four years of strong leadership by Governor Healey and Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll,” said MassDems Chair Steve Kerrigan. “Maura has shown that she is willing to stand up for the people of Massachusetts, deliver on the issues that matter most to residents and move Massachusetts forward. We are proud to support Maura and Kim as they continue to expand opportunity, strengthen our state’s economy and lower costs.”
