Healey and Driscoll outline the clear choice in this election and highlight their vision to lower costs, make life easier, and stand up to Donald Trump.
Boston, MA — Tonight, Governor Maura Healey and Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll have officially been nominated for reelection, and they joined supporters and volunteers at IBEW Local 103 for a primary election night celebration to celebrate their win as they enter the general election.

“Tonight, we thank the voters for choosing us as your Democratic nominees for Governor and Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts. I’m proud to be your Governor because of the people and spirit of this state. For generations, people have come to Massachusetts to seek opportunity – to build a better future for themselves and their families – to work, to start a business, to invent things that change the world.” said Governor Maura Healey. “This is the Massachusetts we’re building. Where you can send your kids to the best schools and get the best health care. Where you can work for the most innovative companies. Where you can live in a safe community and know your rights will be protected. And where you can afford to do it all.”
She outlined the clear choice in this election, and called out her opponent Mike Minogue for giving a million dollars to Donald Trump, and his pro-Trump, pro-ICE, anti-abortion agenda.
“Donald Trump is going to be president for two more years. Who your Governor is right now matters more than ever.” said Governor Maura Healey. “This election is about whose side you’re on. Mike Minogue stands with Donald Trump, I’ll always stand with you.”
“Since day one, Maura and I have been laser focused on making Massachusetts more affordable, more competitive, and more compassionate,” said Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll. “Maura Healey never forgets who she’s fighting for: Working families, seniors, small businesses, students, veterans – all of us. Together, we’re going to keep building a Massachusetts where everyone has the opportunity not just to get by – but to thrive – and this November, the choice could not be more clear. At a moment when fear and division are being weaponized across this country, Massachusetts must remain the beacon that lights the way forward. But to do that, we need to come together and win this fight, because here in Massachusetts, we’re ready to fight for our future.”
