Dorchester, MA  — Building off the momentum of the Massachusetts Democratic Convention, Governor Maura Healey joined dozens of Team Healey-Driscoll volunteers to kick off a canvass in Dorchester. The energized group of supporters collectively knocked hundreds of doors throughout Dorchester and Mattapan, informing voters of the choice this November between Governor Healey and Lieutenant Governor Driscoll’s commitment to lowering costs and creating opportunities for all, and their Republican opponents’ plans to bring a harmful MAGA agenda to Massachusetts.

“This election is really important, and the choice couldn’t be more clear… I’m about building and growing, leaning into our people, and embracing this great state and great city of ours,” said Governor Maura Healey. “So, I ask for your help today on the doors, and I ask for your help, every day going forward, to remind people about this election. Remind people about what’s at stake, and remind people that I’m going to be a Governor for them, because I’ve got your back.”

State Representative Christopher J. Worrell, State Representative Russell E. Holmes, State Representative John F. Moran, and Boston City Councilor At-Large Ruthzee Louijeune were also in attendance to support Governor Healey and Lieutenant Governor Driscoll’s reelection campaign.

The Dorchester canvass is just one of this weekend’s many Team Healey-Driscoll canvass launches in communities across Massachusetts, including Worcester, Longmeadow, Brookline, Milton, Rockland, Plymouth, Methuen, and Haverhill, with over 30 canvasses currently planned in the coming weeks.
